Services

At Rebound Physical Therapy in Bothell, WA we bring to the table over 30 years of experience in treating a wide variety of orthopedic issues and sports related injuries.

Listed in this section are some of the conditions and injuries that we are commonly asked to treat.

Orthopedics

We are experienced in correcting injuries and conditions of the skeletal system and its associated muscles, joints and ligaments.

Our goal is to reduce pain and start the process of healing and recovery as quickly as possible so as to affect optimal function.

You will see the same physical therapist for each visit, so your progress is carefully reviewed. We will work with you to restore your range of motion and help you return to or exceed your normal level of function and activity.

We recognize the urgency of recovering quickly, but at the same time, we are conscious that your therapy and care also serves to help you prevent the injury from recurring.

Back and neck pain/ Spinal issues

In the United States, almost 90 percent of people experience debilitating back and neck pain at some point in their lives.

We can help when it strikes you. We are focused on determining the source of your pain and working quickly and effectively to reduce pain and influence healing.

We offer a combination of physical therapy modalities, manual therapy, education, and exercise to get you back to your normal level of function and activity as quickly as possible.

We have experience dealing with degenerative disc issues and the pain of sciatica.

Many factors can impact spine stabilization and we will look at your core strength and spinal mobility as well as your posture, gait, range of motion and nerve function as we customize a program for your care.

Pre and post surgical care

Patients who have the benefit of physical therapy before and after surgery recover faster and more completely than those who try to manage their own return to “normal.”

In total joint replacement surgery, we will work in advance of surgery to make you aware of what to expect. Afterwards, we deliver a comprehensive program of therapy to help you regain range of motion, build strength and get back to your normal active living without recurring problems.

Working in cooperation with your physician and surgeon, we customize a treatment that works precisely for you.

Repetitive strain, sprain and soft tissue injuries

Our physical and manual therapy techniques work to loosen tightness in the body, reduce pain and inflammation from repetitive strain, sprain and soft tissue injuries, and influence the healing process.

We treat chronic overuse conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, patellar tendinitis, tennis elbow and rotator cuff tendinitis.

With soft tissue injuries, we work to increase your range of motion and overall mobility. Soft tissues are the tendons, ligaments, muscles and connective tissues in your body.

In all cases, we include exercises and advice on how to prevent the issues from recurring.

Sports injuries (sprains, strains and fractures)

Working one-on-one with all levels of athletes who have sustained sports injuries, our goal is to help you heal and return to your favorite sport as fast as possible, without risking recurring injuries.

We will assess your injury and work quickly to attack the pain and start the healing process. We treat sprains, strains and fractures that can occur in your sporting activities.

We have experience in dealing with sports specific injuries, treating everything from runner’s knee to lifter’s shoulder to tennis elbow.

In the United States, adults over the age of 25 endure an estimated 3.2 million sports injuries each year. Recreational sports such as tennis, soccer and golf account for the highest category of injuries, followed by individual exercising and cycling.

Motor vehicle accidents

We will work with your physician and insurance provider to assist in your recovery and rehabilitation following a motor vehicle accident.

We treat whiplash and other traumatic injuries. As part of your health care team, we will work to assess your injuries and provide an individualized course of physical therapy to help you heal and restore function.

Our goal is to help you return to your normal level of activity as quickly as possible.

Workers Compensation

At Rebound Physical Therapy in Bothell, WA, we will become part of your health care team, working with your physician and insurance provider to assist in your recovery following a workplace injury.

Each year in the United States, six out of every 100 workers incur some kind of work related injury.

Our goal is to reduce pain and restore full functionality whenever possible. We are able to devise a graduated strengthening program for return to work.

Our home exercise recommendations will help you promote your own rehabilitation between sessions with us.

Posture and movement assessments

By conducting a thorough evaluation of a patient’s posture and patterns of movement we can gain significant information about spinal mobility and core function.

With that knowledge, we can be more effective in addressing issues that may be keeping you from moving and performing to your optimal level.

Sports performance and personal training

Whether you are a recreational enthusiast or a dedicated athlete we can help you move to your highest level of performance.

We will conduct a personalized assessment of your level of fitness, your gait, core strength and goals, and make recommendations on how you can increase your game in the sport of your choice.

Most importantly, our programs are designed to help you avoid common injuries in your sport and strengthen your body to become the best athlete you can be.

Balance training

With a thorough assessment, we can determine methods of improving your balance and helping you prevent falls. We can also determine if you are at a high risk of injury due to falls.

Our balance training physical therapy is designed to help you improve your proprioception, co-ordination and strength.

Gait assessment and corrective exercise

During a gait assessment, we analyse how you walk and run.

This assessment, often accompanied by corrective exercise, is vital to patients whose ability to walk has been impacted by an injury or condition.

It is also beneficial to athletes who want to move and perform at their maximum speed, ability and efficiency.
